Today I did a good deed (I'm really not patting myself on my back). It cost me nothing. Ok, I got cold wet hands but they warmed up quickly. The good deed was for an older gentleman with a walker and his wife who said "it's hard to see in this bright light." I must admit I didn't stick around to see who was driving, (yup, kind of a coward). It was snowing and low visibility...I think that is descriptive enough. As I walked away I smiled. Someone's parents, grandparents, and me one day soon. The whole two minute good deed just made me smile!
So here is a challenge for you...see if you can do a good deed for someone you don't know this week and see if it makes you smile too!
Hi Nana! This is Megan, I didn't know you had a blog until my mom just barely showed me.
ReplyDeleteYou're so sweet. One of my favorite things about you is your kindness and thoughtfulness towards other people. :) I'm smiling because you care.
